Lu Benqiang has invested more than 30 million yuan in research funds and encountered more than 200 technical problems. In the final analysis, these problems are two major problems: First, there is no high-voltage, high-current battery system that they need on the market; second, how to use the control system to release electrical energy after solving the battery problem?
At that time, pure electric loaders had no precedent and no experience in the world. But Lu Benqiang, who has been involved in the machinery manufacturing industry for 20 years, firmly believes that “people without me†is the company’s core competitiveness.
Lu Benqiang led the R&D team to design a series of special processes such as release of electrical energy using a sustained release system to solve the battery problem, and entrusted the battery company to produce a super-power battery. For matching control system R&D problems, start by solving the coordination of each subsystem and master control system. In the end, he tackled the series of problems one by one and applied for 194 patented technologies, including 36 invention patents.
At the beginning of 2015, all tests of the pure electric heavy-duty loader met the standard, but the field test gave Lv Benqiang a “one shot†- this pure electric heavy-duty loader could not afford five tons of sand!
“The bench test data is feasible. Why can't we perform on-site operation?†A well-known old CNC expert in the field of astronomy found the problem. The previously designed operating system was ideal, and the site was shovelled with sand and gravel. Factors such as cover, instantaneous release of charge, and coordination environment all affect the effectiveness of the control system to match the battery system.
Lu Benqiang also redesigned a control system, overcoming the problems of power realization to function realization, sensor matching, and data processing adjustments. The prototype vehicle was successful in field tests. After three consecutive months and 10 hours of field tests each day, the on-site operability and stability of the prototype vehicle have achieved the desired results. (Zhang Xiaoqin)
