Imported advanced technology equipment countries have interest subsidies

Enterprises import advanced technology, important equipment, resource products and raw materials, and the country will subsidize interest subsidies. The Chongqing Municipal Foreign Economic and Trade Commission announced today the “pre-notice on doing a good job in the application of 2014 interest subsidies for import subsidies” to remind enterprises that meet the requirements to seize the application.

The reporter learned that in the Catalogue of Encouraging Imported Technologies and Products (2014 version), there are 223 advanced technologies that are encouraged to be introduced and 150 important equipments that are encouraged to be imported. There are 75 key industries that are encouraged to develop, and the resources that encourage imports are encouraged. There are 18 kinds of products and raw materials. It involves shale gas development and utilization technologies, CNC machine tool products, and wind power industries.

The Chongqing Municipal Foreign Economic and Trade Commission reminded that the technology or product for applying for import interest subsidy belongs to the import technology that the bank issued the payment certificate issued by the bank from January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2013, or the imported product that has completed the customs formalities. The date of completion of customs clearance of imported products shall be based on the customs clearance date.

At the same time, it is stipulated that companies should report all imported discounted materials to the district, county, and finance bureaus and foreign economic and trade departments before April 4, 2014, and will not be accepted if they are overdue. After the district and county (autonomous counties) financial bureaus and foreign economic and trade authorities jointly strictly review the application materials of the enterprises within their respective jurisdictions, they must submit them to the Municipal Foreign Economic and Trade Commission by April 11, 2014, and they will not be accepted if they are overdue. Finally, it will be jointly reviewed by the Municipal Bureau of Finance and the Foreign Economic and Trade Commission and transferred to the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Commerce.
