This method uses the approach to control potential leaching bismuth sulfide ore with chlorine gas selectivity, and resistance to leaching of impurities. A large amount of iron ions in the process of circulation and regeneration of ferric iron are avoided, the product quality is improved, and the filtration and washing performance of the slag are also improved. The basic reaction of the leaching process is:
The selective leaching of chlorine gas has a high selectivity, but the chlorine gas consumption is relatively large. Some elemental sulfur will be oxidized by chlorine gas to form sulfate. Chlorine gas pollution and corrosion problems are also serious, and the equipment needs to be sealed. From an economic analysis, there is no obvious superiority over leaching with ferric chloride.
