If heat protection happens often, we must look for the reasons.
Cause 1: The refrigeration system lacks the refrigerant. When the refrigerant is insufficient, the refrigerant in the compressor will be overheated, causing the compressor to generate heat, which will cause the thermal switch to act, resulting in compressor thermal protection.
Treatment method: make up the refrigerant, and the air return pipe of the compressor should be cool when it is turned on.
Reason 2: Compressor condensing pressure is too high, the cooling water or ambient temperature is too high will make the compressor's exhaust pressure too high, causing the exhaust temperature is too high, which is the compressor overheating.
Solution: Clean the condenser or increase the cooling water flow pressure.
Reason 3: The chiller selection is wrong and the selection is small. When the compressor selection is too small, there will be a small horse-drawn cart. The chiller will never reach the set temperature, and the compressor will continue to work until the compressor is thermally protected.
Treatment method: re-select the new chiller, must have a magnification factor to ensure that the chiller can reach the set temperature shutdown.
Cause 4: The motor of the compressor is faulty. The poor insulation of the enameled wire will cause the compressor current to be too large and it will also be thermally protected.
Approach: Replace the compressor.
