Jilin, China, October 12: An elderly person nearly 80 years old in Jilin City lost his life in the mountains. In more than 30 hours of being trapped, he relied on drinking mountain spring water, eating wild mushrooms, and finally persisted until the arrival of rescue workers.

Wang Chenglu, a 78-year-old old man, is a retired employee of the Juzhou Forest Farm of the Hongshi Forestry Bureau of Jilin Province and has lived in the forest area for many years. A few days ago, Wang Chenglu lost the mountain when he was collecting mushrooms. Subsequently, Wang Chenglu's daughter turned to the forest farmer for help. The tree farm immediately organized more than 100 people into the mountains and took a flashlight to search for it overnight.

According to the personnel involved in search and rescue, although the moon was hovering over the night, the forests in the mountains were rich in vegetation, combined with the complex terrain, and it was very difficult to find. Because there are no cell phone signals in the mountain, each search team is equipped with two kicks (double-shot artillery) to find the elderly. When the team finds the old man, they immediately ring the kicker to inform others.

The search continued until the afternoon of the next day. The sound of firecrackers was suddenly heard in the sky. The search and rescue team successfully rescued the old man. At this time the old man looked a little tired, fortunately the body did not cause serious problems.

Wang Chenglu, the old man, said that on that day, he went alone to collect mushrooms and walked away and lost his way. As the weather got older and the elderly found that they could not get out of this mountain, they decided to look for a sheltered place first. Wang Chenglu, who has rich experience in mountain life, is calm. He decided to look for the way out after dawn.
