According to reports, Shanghai Maritime University's "New Ship Ballast Water Treatment Technology and Equipment" project has applied for and has authorized five invention patents. After signing the cooperation agreement, Jiujiang Precision Testing Technology Research Institute will start production as soon as possible. The product will be put into the market and will effectively solve the problems of marine environmental pollution and biological invasion caused by seaborne ballast water discharge.
