The overall growth of the domestic auto market has continued unabated, and even commercial vehicles that have been underperforming have rushed up. According to the statistics of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the production and sales of commercial vehicles in November were completed at 316,700 units and 301,300 units respectively, up by 10.09% and 7.65% from the previous month, respectively, an increase of 1.14 times and 90.48% year-on-year respectively. From January to November, the production and sales of commercial vehicles completed 3.061 million and 300.24 million vehicles, respectively, an increase of 26.44% and 23.80% year-on-year, and the growth rate was 5.71 and 4.66 percentage points higher than the period from January to October. The commercial vehicle market situation improved significantly. The achievement of 3 million cars has increased by about 15% from the 2.65 million in the previous year.
Statistics from the China Automobile Association also show that from January to November this year, the production and sales of automobiles were 12.2658 million vehicles and 12.203 million vehicles respectively, an increase of 41.59% and 42.39% over the same period of the previous year, and they hit record highs frequently.
The fastest recovery in the heavy truck
Target improvement next year
According to statistics, among the various types of commercial vehicles, the truck market performed the best, with an increase of 36.89% from January to November. This type of vehicle accounts for two-thirds of the commercial vehicle market and has become the main force driving the growth of commercial vehicles; The chassis of the trucks only increased by 4.31% and 5.10%, while the non-integrated vehicles of semi-trailer tractors and passenger cars were still lower than the same period of last year.
In the field of trucks, the rapid recovery of medium-to-heavy trucks, which fell sharply in the first half of the year, has played an important role in the reversal of commercial vehicles. The mainstream heavy-duty truck companies performed well, causing the market sales in November to increase substantially year-on-year. As a result, heavy truck sales of 600,000 vehicles will be a foregone conclusion in the year, with a year-on-year increase of at least 11%. This outcome was unexpected for all truck companies in the first half of this year.
According to publicly available data, in November, FAW Liberation and Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Corporation continued to top the monthly sales of heavy-duty trucks with 16,000 vehicles and 11957 vehicles respectively.
Sales of Auman, Shaanxi Auto, and Hualing were basically the same as in October. Heavy-duty trucks and Hongyan declined slightly, while Beiben sold a small increase of 10% on a 2100-unit basis.
Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Company sold 94,959 heavy trucks from January to November, accounting for 45,381 vehicles and other types of vehicles. The company sold a total of 175,375 medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles, one step away from the 185,000 target set earlier this year. The accomplishment of the task throughout the year can be described as "iron nailing."
In November, FAW’s Liberation Company sold 18,000 heavy-duty trucks. In the first 11 months of 2009, it sold about 150,000 medium- and heavy-duty trucks. The total amount has greatly exceeded the actual sales of 134,000 vehicles in 2008; only the heavy truck sales exceeded the previous month. The annual plan of 105,000 vehicles this year.
Due to the exertion of the logistics vehicle market in the second half of the year, the sales of China National Heavy Duty Truck (SCS), which is relatively weak in the tractor market, continued to slow in the fourth quarter. Its January-October sales of 106,355 heavy trucks, from January to November sales of about 115,000, from the 125,000 target set earlier this year, there are still about 10,000 gap. If distribution to the dealer network in December is more than necessary, achieving this goal should not be a problem; Futian Auman, the most eye-catching seller since May of this year, had sales of heavy trucks in the first 11 months from around 73,500 to 74,000 vehicles. , has far exceeded the target of 60,500 vehicles this year. Another outstanding company, Valin Motors, sold about 17,000 heavy trucks in November, an increase of more than 20% year-on-year. There is no suspense to complete 18,000 annual targets.
After a new round of adjustments this year, the structure of heavy trucks has changed significantly compared to 2008. The position of the top three heavy trucks has been transposed to FAW, CNHTC and Dongfeng. The original fifth-ranker Auman has jumped to fourth place and gradually pulled away from Shaanxi Auto. Wal-Mart also passed the improvement of dealers and product lines. It is almost equal to the seventh SAIC Iveco Hongyan. In December, if he "strives for a leap," he is expected to be among the top seven heavy truck players.
Target improvement next year
As the heavy-duty card market is making rapid progress in the second half of the year, companies will have a strong confidence in next year. Most companies believe that the central government will continue to pursue a proactive fiscal policy and a moderately loose monetary policy next year. This will be a great news for the macro economy next year. On this basis, the heavy-duty truck market will grow steadily in 2010, and this year's ups and downs will not occur.
On December 9th, the State Council decided to raise the maximum subsidy for replacement of cars from the original 5,000 yuan to 18,000 yuan. Because the trade-in policy is mainly for commercial vehicles, this is also a big plus for commercial vehicles.
Under the stimulation of various favorable information, all heavy truck companies have raised their production and marketing targets next year. The reporter learned that the sales task of the heavy duty trucks of the Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Company's Shiyan headquarters in 2009 is 80,000 to 85,000 vehicles, and the target for next year will be increased to 100,000 vehicles, and the planned increase will exceed 17%. SINOTRUK is to use 140,000 heavy trucks as the 2010 annual target, and plans to increase it by 12%.
Shaanxi Auto Heavy Truck Co., Ltd. conducted an internal adjustment in the second half of the year in the case of unsatisfactory performance this year, and in November this year put forward the 2010 target of 100,000 heavy trucks.
The Beiben Heavy Trucks and Hualing Heavy Trucks will target 40,000 vehicles and 25,000 vehicles next year, an increase of 33.3% and 38.8% from the 2009 target.
There are also people who are cautious about the market for commercial vehicles next year. The relevant person in charge of SAIC Iveco Hongyan believes that this year's sales will exceed 600,000 vehicles. "This figure is already very alarming. It will be pretty good if we can get a similar level next year."
