The following is an introduction to the selection of the electromagnetic flowmeter installation environment. The use of a suitable installation environment is the first critical step for us to carry out the test. After selecting the correct installation environment, we need to periodically check the electromagnetic flowmeter. , Check the surrounding environment of the electromagnetic flowmeter Check if there is a newly installed strong electromagnetic field device or there is a newly installed wire across the meter.
First, the sensor installation environment selection:
(1) Installation should be avoided wherever ambient temperature is too high. The integrated structure of the electromagnetic flowmeter is also subject to the environmental temperature of the electronic components and is lower.
(2) The sensor should be installed in a dry and ventilated place to avoid wet and easy to flood the flooded place. It should also avoid direct sunlight and direct rain pouring.
(3) There should be no strong leakage current on the pipeline on which the sensor is installed. It should be as far away as possible from equipment with strong electromagnetic fields, such as large electromechanical and large transformers, so as to avoid electromagnetic field interference;
(4) There should not be strong vibrations on the pipeline or ground on which the sensor is installed, especially the integral type instrument;
(5) The place where the sensor is installed should consider the space of the staff on-site maintenance.
Second, the choice of converter installation environment
(1) The ambient temperature is between -10 and 45°C;
(2) The relative humidity of the air is ≤85%;
(3) There is no strong vibration at the installation site;
(4) The ambient air does not contain corrosive gases;
(5) Converters should be installed indoors. When installed outdoors, measures should be taken to prevent sun and rain
Third, installation precautions:
(1) The installation direction of the electromagnetic flowmeter is horizontal, vertical or inclined, and it is not limited;
(2) measuring the vertical installation of solid-liquid two-phase fluid, and flowing from bottom to top;
(3) When installing horizontally, make the electrode axis parallel to the horizon, not perpendicular to the horizon;
(4) The electromagnetic flowmeter should not be installed at the high point or the top of the piping system;
(5) The installation of electromagnetic flowmeter should also be avoided or far away from the downstream of the two different conductivity liquid mixing points
(6) There should be sufficient space near the flowmeter for installation and maintenance;
(7) If the measuring pipe is vibrating, fix the bearings on both sides of the flowmeter.
