1. Sometimes we find holes in the pipe of the measured medium. In this case, the triangular pyramid surface of the protective sleeve is fixed on the wall of the installation pipe. The hole in the pipe should be drilled with a through hole of 38 mm in diameter, and then slowly expanded to a diameter of 42 mm. The diameter of the hole, the hole with a diameter of 38mm is kept 10mm long, which is a must to pay attention to when reaming.
2. Weld the mounting sleeve. The length of the length of the hot-sleeve bimetal thermometer sleeve should be noted. It should be ensured that the triangular pyramid of the protective sleeve is firmly seated in the 38 mm diameter hole.
3. When the bimetal thermometer is inserted into the protective sleeve, we should pay attention to some cases when the triangular tapered surface of the protective sleeve is in close contact with the hole. When the triangular taper of the protective sleeve has been in close contact with the 38 mm hole, there should be sufficient weld clearance between the protective sleeve and the mounting sleeve.
4. Weld the protective sleeve onto the mounting sleeve. It can be seen from the installation of the bimetal thermometer protection sleeve that the prismatic taper of the protective sleeve is pressed against the pipe opening during installation to ensure that the prismatic cone of the protective sleeve is firmly fixed on the pipe wall. It is generally believed that the temperature at the center of the pipe is high and the temperature will decrease faster as it deviates from the center of the pipe. Therefore, when installing the protective sleeve, the end of the protective sleeve is required to slightly exceed the center of the pipe to ensure that the hot spot of the thermocouple can be at a high temperature.
