A, antimony trioxide and ethylene antimonate
Sb 4 O 6 is a white cubic crystal with a melting point of 929 K and a boiling point of 1698 K. Like phosphorus oxides, antimony trioxide is also based on the Sb 4 tetrahedron, a molecular crystal in the form of Sb 4 O 6 , which has a structure similar to that of P 4 O 6 .
Sb 4 O 6 is an amphoteric alkaline oxide which is poorly soluble in water and easily soluble in acids and bases.
Sb 2 O 3 +3H 2 SO 4 Sb 2 (SO 4 ) 3 +3H 2 O
Sb 2 O 3 +2NaOH 2NaSbO 2 +H 2 O
Tellurite is a strong reducing agent in alkaline media:
[H 3 SbO 6 ] 4 - +H 2 O+2e SbO 2 - +5OH -         ψ B θ =-0.4V
2. Antimony pentoxide and tannic acid
Bismuth pentoxide is a light yellow powder, which is an amphoteric acid oxide, hardly soluble in water, insoluble in nitric acid solution, but soluble in alkali to form citrate. If dissolved in KOH solution to form potassium citrate K[Sb(OH) 6 ], potassium citrate is a reagent for identifying Na + . Citrate H[Sb(OH) 6 ] is a monobasic acid (K=4.0×10 - 6 ), which has the same structure as H 6 TeO 6 and H 5 IO 6 in the same cycle, and is a six-coordinate octahedral structure. And they are electrons of each other.
The most prominent property of citric acid and its salts is oxidizing, and from As, Sb to Bi, the oxidation of the +V oxidation state is enhanced in turn.
H[Sb(OH) 6 ]+2HCl H[Sb(OH) 4 ]+Cl 2 +2H 2 O
